Pending Events Reserve Items
Once you are done editing an event, it's important to submit it for approval as soon as possible in order to reserve your items. Also, by default, only events that are in a pending status are visible to others on the calendar and appropriate dashboards.
If an event is edited and put back to draft status, its spaces, resources, and services are released, and other events can be submitted and approved for those times. If you resubmit the draft later and something else has taken the time, the conflict will show, and if your organization blocks conflicting submissions you’ll need to resolve it before submitting.
If you leave an event in a draft status you can pick up where you left off by selecting the event from within your "My Drafts" grid on your dashboard. If you have no events in draft mode, you will not see a "My Drafts" grid on your dashboard.
