How Convenience Fees function | Billing & Invoicing

This article is about one of the capabilities that's included with the Billing & Invoicing feature. Billing & Invoicing is a great feature available on certain subscription tiers of Event Scheduler!

For those that are on an eSPACE subscription tier which includes Billing & Invoicing, organizations can elect to use a Convenience Fee to cover any transaction costs occurred in the Billing & Invoicing Module.



Step One  

The appropriate Convenience Fee Percentage will be determined in a discussion between you and SafeSave, as it may vary based on the anticipated size of transactions. In order for the Convenience Fee to work, SafeSave will need to be made aware that collection is being enabled.

Call 1-800-220-8611 or visit SafeSave Payment Services to connect with them.

 

Step Two  

Contact Support and let them know you want to add a Convenience Fee and state the exact percentage and anticipated size of transactions

 

Step Three  

An eSPACE Team Member will enable the Convenience Fee feature for your account

 

Note:  SafeSave has a MINIMUM Convenience Fee amount of $2.00. If the calculated fee will be less than $2, this minimum fee value will be used in lieu of the calculated fee.

Therefore if you are trying to do a "test charge" then make sure to test with an amount greater than $2. Also, all ticket tiers need to be greater than $2 as well.

  • Each eSPACE admin with access to Billing can view what subscription tier your organization currently has and everything that is included in their account under Settings > Other > Billing > Manage.
