Event | Adding a Name and Description/Notes

How to add event name and internal description for an event, including embedded links 

To start adding an event you can click "Add Event" at the top right hand side of your Event Scheduler account or go to Calendar > Item Schedulers > Daily Spaces and double click on any empty/available space.

Adding an Event Name and Description

  • Once the blank event template appears, enter in an Event Name (required field)
  • You can also add an internal Event Description (this optional & only viewable for eSPACE users on the internal calendar)
    • Please know that there is a 4000 character limit for the internal event description

Adding a Link 

    • You can also add the link/URL in the Event Description.
      • If you want to change how the link appears, you can add the text that you want to display inside of a bracket right before typing or pasting in the web address inside of parentheses.
    • OR you can also add notes about the event here for eSPACE admins and the event owner and editor(s) to see.
