  1. Equipment/Property Barcoding

    I would love to see a way to barcode equipment. Barcodes could help identify property as well as scanning items with a smart phone to process work orders or find work order history. Scan the item to find an open work order or close the work order and add notes when finished.

    Great news! This feature is available with our Asset Pro add-on to the Work Order and Asset Management module of eSPACE. Barcodes can be created and printed in eSPACE. And with the mobile web app of eSPACE, barcodes on equipment can be scanned for creating a new working order or adding to an existing work order.   2. sub-admin permissions

    Is it possible to give Sub-Admins the ability to close a work order?

    Currently, I’m having to have the managers of the electricians, plumbers and HVAC people be a full Admin because they aren’t able to close work orders as a sub-admin.

    This would at least slow down the flow of emails to people who or more hands on with the techs/laborers. It would also keep higher level admins from having to walk around and check things before they are closed.

    This idea is long overdue for an update. A while back, we updated “tasks” so they can be individually assigned. Additionally, each user can show a “My Assigned Tasks” grid on their eSPACE dashboard (desktop and mobile) so they can easily see the work they need to do. Once all tasks for a WO are completed, the system can be set for the WO to “complete” automatically. This setting in Settings >> Advanced >> General >> Work Order Workflow, and it’s labeled “Automatically Complete Work Order Upon Completion of Final Task”

  4. Filter my assigned tasks to not include uncompleted tasks from closed work orders

    We don't require all tasks within a work order to be complete before a work order is marked as complete. We just have them put in a comment on why the task was not completed. When the work order is closed that task still shows up in the employees task list. Please filter the MY ASSIGNED TASKS to not include tasks from closed work orders.

  5. Add manufacturer to equipment list export

    The function to print equipment in the equipment setting page does not include the field "Manufacturer" Can that be added please?

  6. Have the user that marked off a task within a work order shown.

    When a person marks off a task with in a work order. The task list should show who it was that marked it off so that if there is an issue we know who to talk to.

  8. Priority text color should be black if priority colors are lighter shade (ie, yellow)

    I wanted to use a standard Red / Orange / Yellow / Green color scheme for my priority levels, but with orange and yellow, the text labels in the dashboard tables are not readable because the text is always white and contrast is very low. System should either: 1) limit available colors to darker shades (not preferable) OR 2) set priority text to black if priority color is set to a lighter shade. Shoot for a contrast ratio of 4.5 or greater for best readability (https://webaim.org/resources/contrastchecker/).

  10. Rename "Requires Administrative Approval" to Requires Sub-Admin Approval"

    On the Dashboard it would be helpful to have all the grids reflect the roles. As a new user group to eSpace my staff has found the "requires administrative approval" grid title confusing when looking for sub-admin approvals.

  12. dashboard search

    Since we have similar events on each of our 5 campuses, it would be nice if the dashboard search feature would show the location of the event - so when I search for Step One, i would be able to distinguish Peoria's Step one from Galesburg's Step one.

  15. Rejecting a work order closes it

    leaving rejected work orders as in progress seems to clutter up that list. Can we have rejecting a work order close it out, unless it gets edited and resubmitted

    Can we please change "Register To Events" to "Register FOR Events" on the public calendar? Register TO Events is not exactly correct English.

  17. Configurations should have an option for a description, or notes

    I have 6 different configurations that have very different details, but similar pictures. I would like to be able to describe for what event you would choose a specific configuration.
    Currently I have to add all this information in the title of the configuration and it is hard to sort through all the info as is.

  18. Allow Setup and Teardown times to be different days than the event

    We have many events that get setup the day before, or even a Friday before a Sunday event. We need to be able to use the setup time to reserve the space for that whole time.

  19. Event Request Form-move recurrence rules

    Because we added custom questions to the event request, the event recurrence rules are at the bottom of page one, completely separate from where the event date/time, etc. are, towards the top. It seems that the recurrence info should be below the event date, with all of the other pertinent date/time informatio; followed by our custom questions. Not separated. Confuses users.
