    Add rich text formatting to conversations. In other words the ability to use bold text, bullet points, carriage returns to allow formatting the conversation to have the appearance of a more formal message, especially since the message is sent as an email.

  2. Link Event Setup to Event Work Orders so they are in sync

    If an event requestor makes changes to the event setup, that should be reflected in the already created event work order, without deleting the event work order and creating a new one.

    My facilities team lives in the WO module and my office team lives in the event module, and they are both frustrated that the event setup doesn't flow (update) to the event work orders in a live synced fashion. It is like the event WO is linked to the event, but neither update the other.

  3. When scheduling a PM to be able to pick Monday-Friday option.

    When picking Frequency of a PM, it would be nice to have a choice that automatically does Monday - Friday or even where you can pick which days each week it would repeat without having to do multiple PMs or having to click on every day for a year and do that every year.

  4. Event Setup and Multiple Work order Categories

    If an event is created and it has multple setup options then I would like the work order tab to link setups to multiple service categories in the work orders instead of one general work order service categories. This will allow each party to track individual work orders.

  5. All app features available on tablet

    Depending on the orientation of the tablet, you have limited side bar features available. Can we just get all features, all the time?
    Phone too actually. Currently, I can't add equipment with my phone. That really stinks because it would be so much quicker and easier for myself and my techs. The easier it is for techs, the easier to implement eSpace. Otherwise, it's just extra work for people who already have too much on their plate.

  6. Create Event Work Order Immediately

    We would like an option (button) to create an event work order now. Meaning, right this second. Currently, we have to wait until the top of the hour (the x:03) to verify and edit it. The requestors sometimes need to switch modules, edit the EWO to add attachments, have a conversation, or add tasks from the task library. Now they have to remember to come back and do this 3 minutes after the next hour.

  7. Ability to delete vendor contact; additional fields needed

    I suggest there be a delete option for vendor contacts since we know when a contact is no longer valid, otherwise there is bad data in the vendor record when someone leaves the vendor! Doesn't make sense for us to delete the entire vendor record to get rid of an obsolete contact, then re-entering the vendor and their updated contact list again.
    Also need fields for the vendor main office phone #, vendor contact mobile #, vendor contact direct office phone #

  9. Use "Suppliers" for inventory instead of Vendors

    According to eSpace, “External Vendors are the people or organizations that are external to your organization you assign to perform the duties of a Work Orders”.

    If that is the case, why does eSpace link External Vendors to Inventory items? I prefer to link “Suppliers” to my inventory items so I know (or my purchaser knows) where to order the item when the on-hand quantity is low.

    Additionally, providing the ability to create a link to the inventory item on the supplier’s website/catalog would be even more helpful.

  10. Add ability to change WO due date according to task due dates

    If I have mutliple tasks in my WO with different due dates I would list them in order of when they're due. When I check off the task due today, I want the WO order due date to automatically reschedule itself to the next task due date so that I don't have to manually move it.

  12. Email IT Work Orders out to a 3rd Party IT Helpdesk

    We use eSPACE for Facilities work orders and use FreshDesk for our IT helpdesk. Some users get confused and put IT things in eSPACE. Some categories like radios, access control, and such bleed over between IT and Facilities.

    It would be nice to allow work orders to a certain department or service category to be emailed to an external email address (myhelpdesk@mydomain.com) that would go to my IT HelpDesk.

    This might also be useful to send emails to vendors or volunteers who are not users in eSPACE.

    Then mark the WO completed or don't actually create it.

  13. Merge

    I was hoping there might be a way to merge WOs, because they might be, in effect, duplicates, but contain different information. For example, I recently got three different work order requests from three different people, all for the same issue, but one contained photos, one contained a more detailed description, and each had a different requester's name. If I could merge the WOs, then I would retain all the different info, and when updates went out concerning the WO status, each requester would get the info.

  14. Import Tasks /Task Groups on an Event Work Order

    It would help if we could import tasks (task groups) from the task library into an Event Work Order. This is in addition to the event setup becoming tasks. Currently, we have to wait until the WO is created (top of the hour) and then switch to the WO module, find the WO, and import the tasks.

  15. Increase Dashboard Limit for Events/Work Orders

    It seems the dashboards have limits (number of events, work orders, days). It would be good if we could show them all in one huge list, not one page of 15 or so at a time. Then the column grouping feature would actually be useful. The export feature would also be useful then too. Yes, it would be slower, but let the user decide.

  16. Event Work Order Completion and Re-creation

    Two issues with event work orders

    If a technician completes the event setup work order and closes the WO, then the event requestor can't make changes without creating a new WO, which isn't allowed.

    If a date or time is changed, a new event WO is created, even if the old WO had notes, conversations, time, costs, or was completed. So the technician gets the new WO, has to figure out if anything changed, and then re-record his labor, and notes, and complete it. This may inflate his hours if the old WO is still in the WO module.

  17. After updating an event, it would be really helpful if the automated email that went out to all of the contacts said "Event Updated"

    The automated emails that are sent to all contacts if a scheduled event has been changed just says "approved". It would be nice if those emails said "Updated" so that users know there has been a recent change to their event.

  18. The ability to post a time a work order needs to be done by.

    It would be nice to have the ability to enter the time a work order needs to be completed by, rather than just the date it needs to be completed. I have had several work orders that need to be completed in the morning (i.e. before 9 AM) and it would be nice to be able to convey that to my facilities workers without emailing each of them.

  19. Add Assigned to Column to Non-Completed Work Orders on Dashboard

    It would be helpful if the Assigned To column could be added to the Non-completed Work Orders section of the dashboard so managers can quickly scan to see who hasn't completed those work orders.

  20. Remove Public Calendar Subscription Download iCal Option

    On the Public Calendar, when a user on an iPhone or iPad clicks subscribe and uses the first button, it downloads and imports the calendar events into their default calendar in the iOS Calendar app. This causes 3 issues
    1) they can't hide these events as it is not a separate calendar, so it can flood their calendar
    2) they don't get new events, even though they think they subscribed
    3) they don't get changes or cancelled events, even though they think they subscribed

    Then they call and say it isn't working. I don't see the value in the download…
