  1. Add 'TENTATIVE' as an option for Event Requests

    Options currently include 'Submit Event', 'Accept' or 'Decline'

    A 'Tentative' option that may move it to 'My Drafts' or 'Requires Admin Approval' without alerting the requestor would be incredibly useful.

  3. Fillable Number Checkbox

    In the Form Builder, there should be an option like the checkbox with options field type that is instead a fillable number box. For example, If I have a field type that looks like this:

    Plates

    9" Divided
    9" Round
    10.25" Divided (by request)
    6" Round
    6" Silver Rim (by request)
    9" Silver Rim (by request)

    instead of each option having a checkbox before it, there could be a small text box where a number could be typed. Like this:

    Plates

    ___ 9" Divided
    ___ 9" Round
    ___ 10.25" Divided (by request)
    ___ 6" Round
    ___ 6" Silver Rim (by…

  4. View Calendar when selecting rooms

    It would be so helpful if users could see the 5-10 events going on before/during/after the event they are trying to schedule when selecting the space for their event. So often people schedule events/meetings for times when we have very large gatherings happening and are disappointed with lack of parking or noise happening during their event...If the calendar populated at the bottom of ITEMS tab so they could see whats going on and where it would really help us make better room and/or time selections for them. On several occasions, Memorial Service receptions have been scheduled next door to Boy…

  6. Message to all Users

    Occasionally I need to message all of my espace users, which is a select group of our staff and not all staff. It would be great if either a place could be included on everyone's dashboard and homepage to post a message or alert --- or if that isn't possible, some way to send a message to all users - or even better to all users in a certain category, such as all sub-admins, all users, all view only users etc.

  8. Add ics file to Approval Email

    I know you can download an ics file once an event has been approved but it takes time and a lot of clicks to get that done. Additionally if someone is not an authorized user they cannot do this anyway.

    A great solution would be to simple attach an ics file to the email that a requestor receives when the event is approved. That way when you get the email you can open the event, invite participants and add to your calendar immediately.

    Good for outlook or other calendar apps

  9. Add bi-weekly as a recurring schedule option

    Current options are daily, weekly, monthly (on x day of each month) or custom. We have a number of groups that meet every other week, which makes scheduling their recurrences a pain.

  10. Quick Events

    Our users would love an option to quickly create events that always use the same items and set ups. Similar to having your own set of reports - maybe users could create their "quick events", pick the one they want to schedule and then all they have to do is put in the date and time. Currently, we add schedules, but there are definite draw backs to this. Since we can't search past events, copying a previous event works only if you know where to find one on the calendar from the past.

  11. Improve Google Calendar Integration to show useful details

    The google calendar integration is currently only pulling the names and event time over from espace. I think this integration would be much more useful if in addition, it would pull over what rooms are reserved, what description has been added, and what resources and services are associated with the event.

  12. Want request form CSS/formatting/spacing updated

    On event request forms, every field following event description is squished into 1/2 of the screen. It still works, but it looks bad. Could these questions extend across the screen like the first few fields?

    Also, I'd like all the questions to have some padding around them. Right now they bump up to each other and it is a little more difficult to read.

    One more thing--when you add a "note" question type, the formatting is different than other questions. There is a large padding/margin beneath the note but not on any other question. This makes it look like the…

  13. Option to Create Work Order automatically for a Service or Resource Request

    It would be great if we could have the option to create a work order in the WOM when a particular Service or Resource is requested for an approved event. And, if it has a custom form attached to the service or resource, that information would be added to the work order. This would eliminate some redundant work for the person entering and managing events.

  14. Calendar integration: Remember filter settings when changing views

    Currently, eSpace "forgets" what categories are selected when changing views (Daily> choose categories, change to Month and all categories are reset). would be great for this to be able to remember the choices when changing views.

  15. See configurations, room descriptions and images when adding an event

    It would be helpful for users...

    • to see or filter (without a tag) space options by configurations.

    • to see the description for spaces as they're adding "items" to their reservation. For instance, you may have a new employee who is not familiar with the room names or room names have changed.

    • to view pictures of spaces rather than upload them to a document library or configuration which is not easily seen from the items tab. One conference room may look different than another.

  17. Ability to edit national holiday event category colors.

    The white on turquoise for national holidays (agenda view) is not a good combination. Can it please be added to event categories or general display settings so it can be changed.

  18. Add Approved with Shortages as an option when running event set up reports

    Add this as an option on the pull down when running event set up reports. If I approve an event that has shortages (because I know we can quickly move chairs around for example) even though it's approved on the calendar it will NOT show up as an event when printing reports. This leads to entire events not being on anyone's radar. It's the only one missing from the pull down of options and needs to be added.

  19. Public Event Request Confirmation Email

    For the Public Event Request form, the confirmation email that the submitter gets and that also goes to the managers listed in the request form does not include all the information in the email (location, rooms, etc.). After the event is submitted you can go in and generate an email to people, and that email WILL include all the information. Can the email the submitter (and the manager) receive also include this information? It's a rather useless email now because no one can tell which campus the event is at or what rooms/resources/services are requested.

  20. Give Sub-Admins ability to fully own Resources/Services/Forms that belong to their team (or create a new permissions level for this purpose)

    Our Admins, who are extremely busy with other areas of responsibility in addition to eSpace, don't always have time/energy to help our Sub-Admins make edits every time a Resource quantity changes or a question needs to be altered on a Form. This results in eSpace containing inaccurate information and makes scheduling more difficult. We have some Sub-Admins who are capable of fully owning their teams' Resource, Service and Forms data, but the Admin team is understandably uncomfortable with the idea of making them full Admins. An intermediate level of permissions would be very helpful here - either an edited version…
