Block users from making changes to an event within a certain timeframe
For example, no changes can be made to an event within 7 days of the scheduled event. Admins can make changes, if necessary.
Great news! This suggestion is already in eSPACE, via the setting “Don’t Allow Events to be Updated x Hours Prior to the Event Start Time”. We actually added this functionality a little while back, but it seems a duplicate “Idea” was updated, and this ideas was not updated. Time restrictions on event creation would be nice - not allow a new event to be added less than X days out.

We like to have the schedules blocked or locked unless you are an administrator by the Thursday of the preceding week to assist in reducing last minute changes after the event set up has been released.
