  1. New HELP button

    The new HELP button in the lower right corner of our screens is nice. However, it covers all the other buttons in the same area located on each tab. We are having to pull the scroll bar down to click on this button which becomes an annoyance. It would be helpful to have the "HELP" button located in the lower left corner of the screen where it will not cover any other necessary buttons.

    Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. A number of other folks reported this same observation via a few different channels. As a result, we’ve remove the button completely. The help window can (still) be access using the “Help” >> “Support” link in the upper right area of all pages in eSPACE.

  2. delete occurrence

    It would be wonderful if we were able to delete an occurrence of an event that was already approved, without having to get approval again once that is done.

    Admins currently have the ability to not require re-approval when an event occurrence is deleted or canceled by going to Settings>Advanced>General>Event Creation and un-checking the following setting:
    “A recurring event must be re-submitted if an occurrence is deleted/canceled”. Please reach out to Support if you have any questions.

  3. I would like to see an email reminder go out to the event contact "x" # of days prior to their event.

    Currently an event contact does not receive any type of reminder notification prior to their event as confirmation. I think this is critical and would like to see this moved up the development board quickly.

  4. Help with last minute changes to events

    Please add a feature where last minute changes to events (such as within 24 hours) are not "accepted" by the system, and / or, changes to "notes" also ping an updated email. As it is now, another admin can request a change in set up, such as in the notes, and we don't even know they did that.

    Great news! This popular feature request has been been developed and is now available for use in your eSPACE account. You can find the setting to prevent last minute changes on the Settings >> Advance >> General page under Event Creation Section.

  7. Auto-fill info on required forms as listed in the original event

    The name and date(s) of the event is listed when creating an event. Please auto-fill this information into all related forms for the same event

    Good news! We just updated eSPACE with an idea you submitted or voted for. When completing a form for an Item (space, resource, or service) of an event, if that same form is used for other items of the event, you can choose to apply the form answers to other Items in the event.!

  8. I would like to be able to send a reminder email a few days to a week before the event.

    I want the email alert, as well as being able to send out the information to others associated with the event, such as our tech director, our security officer, etc.

  10. Billing/invoicing for public requests (space rentals)

    Allow invoices and payment processing available within eSPACE (as it relates to external requestors/vendors). Thanks!

  11. When adding a schedule to an event, there is no option to make the add-on schedule PRIVATE.

    Ex: A concert may be desired on the Public Calendar but the Meet-and-Greet may be Private. The add-on schedule also shows publicly (shows as the event name). This also poses an issue for people who use the "Add Schedule" option for Setups the night before an event.

  13. Resources tied to specific spaces

    It would be helpful to be able to tie some of our resources to specific spaces. For example, we have some resources (production gear, furniture, etc) that are only available in specific spaces or a specific set of spaces. It would be helpful if those could only be selected when he related space is also selected or if that space could automatically be selected in the Item Setup.

  16. Keep Approved Events Displayed in the Calendar

    Once Approved Events are displayed in the Calendar....any updates to an approved event sends the event into draft status and the event is removed altogether from the Calendar View.

    This poses a challenge for support staff to plan if they cannot see the already approved event in the Calendar.

    Is there a way to keep the Approved Event Title Displayed in the Calendar View & Note - pending updated information or new event details are pending approval?

  19. Approval Details

    It would help if it would show on the Dashboard (for instance as a pop-up when holding the mouse over the event) what approvals are still needed. We have a situation where some events require approval from several different services / depts, and it is very time consuming to have to look through event details over and over to find out what is holding it up.

    We would love to see this be a required (optional settings?) field during the event creation process. Thank you!

    Currently, Admins can go to Settings>Advanced>General>Event Creation and select the following setting “Require at least one event contact” to require a user to add a contact when adding an event. Please reach out to Support if you have any questions. Thanks!
