When a service has been requested, our service providers would like to have a way to communicate back to the requester if t there are questions or incomplete forms. Currently, the only option is to DECLINE. Decline renders the forms invalid and the requester has to completely re-submit an entire form.
Need the ability to comment to the requester and allow them the opportunity to edit their form before Service Provider hits Approve or Decline.87 votes
Please add a feature where last minute changes to events (such as within 24 hours) are not "accepted" by the system, and / or, changes to "notes" also ping an updated email. As it is now, another admin can request a change in set up, such as in the notes, and we don't even know they did that.86 votes
Great news! This popular feature request has been been developed and is now available for use in your eSPACE account. You can find the setting to prevent last minute changes on the Settings >> Advance >> General page under Event Creation Section.

It would help if it would show on the Dashboard (for instance as a pop-up when holding the mouse over the event) what approvals are still needed. We have a situation where some events require approval from several different services / depts, and it is very time consuming to have to look through event details over and over to find out what is holding it up.74 votes
Ex: A concert may be desired on the Public Calendar but the Meet-and-Greet may be Private. The add-on schedule also shows publicly (shows as the event name). This also poses an issue for people who use the "Add Schedule" option for Setups the night before an event.73 votes

I would like to see an email reminder go out to the event contact "x" # of days prior to their event.
Currently an event contact does not receive any type of reminder notification prior to their event as confirmation. I think this is critical and would like to see this moved up the development board quickly.65 votes

Good news! We just updated eSPACE with an idea you submitted or voted for. When completing a form for an Item (space, resource, or service) of an event, if that same form is used for other items of the event, you can choose to apply the form answers to other Items in the event.!

Question - we now have access to report builder. Which I love, however we have a "form" that our people complete and this is not one of our51 votes
When a certain event has a resource or service required there would be an option to send an alert or email reminder to the admin or sub-admin of that group. You could set it up to alert you a week before the event ect. or send you an alert when it is scheduled to get your approval.50 votes

It would be very helpful to have a sub admin have permission to be a pre approver. I know that only ADMIN can at this time but the people we would like to preapprove events should not have access to settings and other events at different locations. Having admin privileges should not be necessary to have users preapprove events.47 votes
Once Approved Events are displayed in the Calendar....any updates to an approved event sends the event into draft status and the event is removed altogether from the Calendar View.
This poses a challenge for support staff to plan if they cannot see the already approved event in the Calendar.

It would help when selecting a space and it shows a conflict alert to be able to hover over it to see who the conflict is with. right now you have to wait until the availability page to find out. Finding out up front would give the user an opportunity to contact the conflict and see if it can be worked out before having to continue or selecting another space.39 votes

Having a Copy Event Option could save a lot of time being able to go back to a previous time on an event that happens every year or any previous event that is being repeated. That way a user wouldn't have to enter the same info all over again.38 votes

In the Admin - Pending Pre-Approval Dashboard there is a column with the Created Date for each event. Can the actual date the event was submitted for Admin approval be included? The time between an event creation and submission for approval are not reflected.
The update is helpful when deadlines are set to prioritize the approval process for scheduling events.38 votes
When entering events that repeat multiple times, but not on a consistent day/week/etc.; would like a calendar to mark specific dates
Often I have events that aren't "second Tuesday of the month", but instead January 4, February 15, March 20, April 5, etc. A calendar where we could check the specific dates or at least a way to record the specific dates in one spot would be very helpful.33 votes
I know a lot of you have been waiting for this one for a long time.. well.. wait no more! Custom Recurrences has just been released! You can now choose “Custom” when choosing a recurrence type and choose any dates you want from a nicely formatted yearly calendar!
