[Event Creation](https://support.espace.cool/espace-knowledge-base/event-scheduler?hsLang=en#event-creation) # Quick Event Create ## How to create an event with basic event details If you need to quickly add an event without all of the details, select **"Quick Event Create"**, located on the top black band of your dashboard! ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-05-2001-PM.png?width=405&height=136&name=undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-05-2001-PM.png) This is a quick way to add an event and get your reservations submitted for approval. You can always go back to add any details!   To get started, complete the required fields and any other desired fields for the event on the "**Create Event"** page and click the **NEXT** button! - **For recurring events,** the start and end date should be the **SAME**, while allowing the selected reoccurrence option to define how the event reoccurs. - The same rule applies for "Begin Setup" and "End Teardown" dates. - The ONLY situation where the start and end date would be *different* is when the event is one long continuous event that lasts overnight for a period of day(s)/week(s). - The same rule applies for "Begin Setup" and "End Teardown" dates. ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-11-8853-PM.png?width=670&height=500&name=undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-11-8853-PM.png) ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-19-3303-PM.png?width=670&height=411&name=undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-19-3303-PM.png)   On the second page, add your **Spaces,** **![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-23-3248-PM.png?width=670&height=361&name=undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-23-3248-PM.png)**   **add your Resources,** **![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-27-9451-PM.png?width=670&height=422&name=undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-27-9451-PM.png)**   **and add your Services.** ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-33-1038-PM.png?width=670&height=381&name=undefined-Feb-20-2026-03-52-33-1038-PM.png)   As you review and select your **"ITEMS"** (Spaces/Resources/Services), you will quickly be able to identify if the item is available for your event and all occurrences. There is real-time conflict detection throughout the event scheduling process. - You will see either a green check mark for items not in conflict or a red caution triangle with "See Conflicts" next to it (see attached below).
