[General Features for All Users](https://support.espace.cool/espace-knowledge-base/event-scheduler?hsLang=en#general-features-for-all-users) # How to Find an Event in the Future, Present, or Past ## How to search through all events regardless if it's past, present, or in the future #### **Event Search by Name** Use the global search box, located on the top of your dashboard, to search for any **future** event by key words in the event name or by event ID number! ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-19-2026-09-39-59-6173-PM.png?width=670&height=85&name=undefined-Feb-19-2026-09-39-59-6173-PM.png) When searching, the global search looks at 2 things: - Present and future occurrences - Permissions of the user (the same as All events, the dashboard, and the calendar) running the search. The user will only see results based on what he/she has permissions to see (ex: locations). To see **past events**, read more below or use the internal calendar views or one of the many report options that we have. Either click expand Calendar or Reports in your left side menu bar to get started.   #### **Events \> All Events** You can also search for any **future, present and past** event by navigating to Events \> All Events in your left-side menu bar. *However*, this is not all your events that have ever been created, but rather all the next 75 events.
