[Event Notifications](https://support.espace.cool/espace-knowledge-base/event-scheduler?hsLang=en#event-notifications) # Event Notifications | Modifying Item Notes on the Setup tab of Events and Notifications ## How to get notified when notes on the setup tab are edited Sections in this article: - **Editing the Notes on the Setup Tab** - **Setup Notes Recorded on History Tab** - **Email Notifications**   #### **Editing the Notes on the Setup Tab** When an admin, event owner, or event editor modifies **item notes** on the Setup tab of an event that is *not* in a draft status, a modification notification will be sent to all Sub-Admins who have items on that event in their approval area, as well as all Admins (based on location permissions).  ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Mar-02-2026-03-38-02-5127-PM.png?width=670&height=352&name=undefined-Mar-02-2026-03-38-02-5127-PM.png)   #### **Setup Notes Recorded on History Tab** The item note modification will also be reflected in the event **history**. ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Mar-02-2026-03-38-07-9500-PM.png?width=670&height=339&name=undefined-Mar-02-2026-03-38-07-9500-PM.png)     #### **Email Notifications** Users who have enabled the **email notification** for **Event Setup Notes Modified** within their *Profile icon \> Profile \> Notification Preferences* will also receive an email notification for any item notes modifications. With this enabled, admins will receive notifications for all events, users will receive notifications for events that they are either the event owner or editor for, and sub-admins will receive notifications about events that have items in their approval area(s). -
