# Auto Approve Event Options for Admins

## How admins can auto approve the events that they create

When adding Admin users, there are two optional permissions (see below) that will let you have tighter control around the "Auto-Approve" option.

- If your organization has enabled final-approval under Settings\>Advvanced\>General\>Event Creation, then when the admin chooses to auto-approve on an event it will go straight to Pending Final Approval *(see the related article above for more)*.

- Selecting **"Can Auto Approve Events"**, this gives the Admin the ability to auto approve an event during the event creation process. On the Event Details page of the event creation process, the Admin will have the option to toggle the button shown bow. If the button is toggled on, the event will be automatically approved and will by-pass any Sub-Admin(s) who have been given permissions to approve their Area of Approval.         ![](https://support.espace.cool/hs-fs/hubfs/undefined-Feb-18-2026-02-34-44-7849-AM.png?width=296&height=99&name=undefined-Feb-18-2026-02-34-44-7849-AM.png)
- Selecting "**Default Auto-Approved On?**" allows an Admin to auto approve every event that they create. When creating an event, the "Auto Approve Event" button will default to being checked.

 

- **If you are using Sub-Admins to approve Approval Areas**, you as the admin should **NOT** have the "Default Auto-Approved On" box checked. Otherwise, any events that you (the admin) create, will bypass any Sub-Admins that need to approve their Approval Areas and will automatically be approved.
